Memorizer is an iOS app operated by Nuno Coelho Santos, Founder & Director of Codiforma. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

Memorizer is a "No-Data Collection" app. We do not collect, use, save, or have access to any of your personal data. The app operates entirely on your device.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Memorizer iOS app available on the Apple App Store.

2. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)

Memorizer is available to users of all ages, including children under 13. In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and GDPR provisions for children:

  • No Collection: We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or any users.
  • No Social Features: The app contains no social media integrations, chat features, or any way for users to communicate or share personal information.
  • Parental Control: Since no data is collected, there is no personal data to review, modify, or delete.

3. Personal Information We Do NOT Collect

To be explicitly clear, Memorizer does not collect:

  • Cookies, pixels, or tracking technologies

The app operates entirely on your device with no data transmitted to external servers.

4. Third-Party Services (In-App Purchases)

The only third-party service involved with Memorizer is Apple, for App Store distribution and in-app purchases.

  • Payment Processing: All transactions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive, process, or have access to your credit card, billing information, or payment details.

Memorizer does not integrate any analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or social media services.

5. Data Security

Memorizer is designed with privacy at its core:

  • The app operates entirely on your device.
  • No data is transmitted to external servers.
  • No personal data is stored, which means there is no risk of data breach from our app.

6. Your Privacy Rights

For California Residents (CalOPPA & CCPA/CPRA)

Under the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to:

  • Right to Know: What personal information is collected. Memorizer collects none.
  • Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information. Not applicable as no data is stored.
  • Right to Opt-Out: We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
  • Do Not Track: Memorizer does not track users over time or across third-party websites. We honor Do Not Track signals by design, as we perform no tracking whatsoever.

For EU/EEA Residents (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • We would be classified as a "Data Controller" that collects zero personal data.
  • Your privacy rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, objection) are inherently protected because no personal data is processed.
  • No data processing means no legal basis for processing is required.

For Japan Residents (APPI)

We comply with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI). As no personal information is collected or handled by Memorizer, there are no data leakage risks or data handling concerns associated with our app.
